Positive Powerful Parents will again be running monthly Melbourne Friday Friendship Groups in 2025 at Ross House in Flinders Lane Melbourne.
This group is for parents who have intellectual disability to connect with other parents, have friendly chats, share information, learn about self advocacy, talk about issues & good outcomes and be connected to support when needed.
We also have lunch and will art n craft and sometimes are involved in creating resources.
Unfortunately children can not attend this group, it is for parents only, parents can attend with a support person if needed.
We always welcome new parents and can sometimes meet prior to groups to make people feel comfortable.
