Jason Kelly is the current Disability Liaison Officer at South West Healthcare in Warrnambool, with a previous Counselling background in Dementia;
Studied Psychology at Deakin University Warrnambool, worked at Commonwealth Carelink/Respite Centres initially and then for 16 years as a Counsellor at Dementia Australia;
I enjoy relationship building with service networks, provision of education and comprehensive support of people living with disability, which my DLO role has and much more;
I have a great knowledge of triggers and strategy advice where behaviour change is concerned, which I have already consulted with my DLO Team on;
I enjoyed worked extensively with South West Healthcare previously in regard to people living with Dementia and carers/family members and knew it is a great place to work;
I enjoy gathering information and using this to build relationships with carers and family members of people living with disability to support them comprehensively
